Dofus - Feca's Shield: Pwning Your Opponent - [ Dofus Kamas ]

So you wana be a feca eh? Well Here is II-Doodle-II’s Amazing guide for the feca from lvl 1-101

STAT POINTS

You get 5 per lvl and you can’t get rid of them after you place them.

Intelligence- This is our main stat and you will boost this to AT LEAST 200 before you do any other stat. If you wana be a good feca this is the stat to raise……

Strength- This is a alternate stat for a Feca but the only successful person I know who has used this build is Manomelee. DON’T RAISE If you want to scroll it go ahead it does give some support to earth armor but I wouldn’t bother till you’re a high lvl.

Vitality- After you get 200+ intel this stat would be the next to add points to 50-150 in there would definitely not hurt after that go back to intel and let the lvl 100 10+hp boosts take over.

Agility- Another stat to scroll since if we wana hit people with staves/daggers we need to keep them in place.

Chance- I heard only 1 successful person on some French server but he was Crap at pvp….enough said.

Alrighty now lets get to spells shall we.

Blindness- This is a great spell I personally love it boost if you’re a str build but lvl 1 is great for us intel builds… Also works as a great combo with your lvl 54 spell glyph of blindness.

Natural Attack- ooo baby one of you best attacks….. AT LVL 101 !!!!! yes this spell is good but cloudy will out do its damage for a long time lvl it to your content until 100+

Glowing Armor- one of you main shields when you get into 20s-30s it gets a double boost because your intel affects it twice. Normally with this good of a shield you can Easly beat a xelor if done right against the mummy.

Spell Rebound- Man you will love this spell from the start lvl it to 5 as soon as you have the spell points to do it. It has a belived 1/6 chance of reflecting a spell of equal lvl to it. These odds get even higher if the spell is a lower lvl than it. I will be lvling this to 6 when I get the time and am 100+.

Aggressive Glyph- it’s the mini Burning glyph its damage is HORRABLE so please make an oath not to lvl this Piece of crap glyph….

Earth armor- O yea now being a feca starts to pay off AT LVL 9 get this to lvl 4 at 9 and lvl 5 at lvl 11 before u do anything else. This is one of your main shields forever and ever sooo USE it … also the factor of not having to sit or use bread when you lvl is AWSOME saving you money and time to buy more equips and things..

Cloudy Attack- This is your best attack skill till 70 but don’t lvl it natural grow stronger than it and if u lvl it it will cost u 1 mill kamas to unlvl it at lvl 100 just ignore it…..

Aqua Armor- One of your favorite shields in pvp not for the fact that it shields water damage but for the fact at lvl 5 You get 40% resist to ap loss now if that isn’t good I don’t know what is..

Immunity- You have to lvl this spell AFTER LVL 100 I think its insanly awesome but it only gets good at lvl 6 when it costs 2 ap =) and 2 turns of invincibility never is a bad thing….

Wind Armor- Haha peski little tofus eating you up or is that agi sac braging about how you can’t kill him even when hes lvl 15….. here is your fix to that.. and the mp resist is great aswell..

Bubble- DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED……. NEXT!!!!

Truce- Great spell to have a team regroup and heal but it has been broken many times by characters hitting 1000+ but as a feca your should be able to hold truce together for the most part.

Art of staff- o this is a great spell for a str feca and crap for ours and it only effects neutral damage……. NEXT!

Backlash- Great for a str feca and ok for a intel feca but we already have to use enough spell points…..

Glyph of blindness- O this spell is great I mean REALLY GREAT only at lvl 2 though witch is even better!! 1-2 ap for 3 turns the glyph will stay out and its stackable…. A great combo would be burning glyph, paralyzing glyph and then stack these babys for maximum effect.

Teleportation- O good god I love this spell its like the xelors spell and even has the same graphics as it but we can use it unlimited times per game =) so have fun .. lvl 4 is a must and lvl 5 should be done when it is available

Burning Glyph- The Fecas dream….. now we can actually do decent damage compared to other classes…. Lvl 5 a,s,a,p, is the best thing you can do.

Feca’s Shield- ooo this spell is a great one but many ignore its power until they find out the hard way I say lvl 5 a.s.a.p, but this is really up to you, you’re the only one that knows your strengths and weaknesses at this point in your dofus life.

Paralyzing Glyph- Wow this spell is SWEET and it works very well. There are a few down sides though you need to have a LOS witch really sucks because no other glyph has this. The cool part is it’s the biggest glyph in the game =)

Glyph of Silence- I have heard that this glyph sucks but that’s just what I have heard I will personally not be lvling this because I have to think about natural attack instead.

Well that was the boaring stuff now here comes the fun stuff and =p

Now lets talk about Gear and lvling…

Ok

1-5 Weak Arachnee there is no escaping from it JUST DO IT

5-9 quests there not hard so just do them and don’t complain

9-20 gobs of find a good friend to lvl with.

20-38 more gobs……

38-60 ok well I got lucky here and did wabits till lvl 59 then I found a little secret from my friend … You all know how the F2p’s were booted yes ? well craq’s were abandond.. and this left them free =) so in a 2 minute fight I would be getting 30k xp wich is INSANE for a 2 minute fight in 2 days of about 9 hrs I was at lvl 70 YAHOO

70+ The new crackler dungeon works wonder and xp is very nice. I really am just relaxing now and waiting for this happiness to be over that I actually made it here.

80+ ask others I have not really found a click for lvl at that lvl yet….

Ok lets talk GEAR

3-20 Adv set is the best if you don’t like It for that long you can switch to gob set earlier

20-38 Gob set there no escaping from it…..

38-70 Prespic Set it give the best wisdom just make sure someone doesn’t scam you on your gob set like they did me almost perfect intel set down the drain because of that.

71+ you can keep using prespic set but here is what I am wearing now.

Jellolining, Desire ball cloak, Krysto’boul (im still working of forging I have failed 3 times L ) , jelloture, jelloboots ( the jello augments really give a good bonus) , Xelors Past (yes it is a noob ring but the intel and wisdom sure make it nice) O ring ami (the hp bonus is awesome and we definitely is good =) o and a Harmony it is great for the wis and the bonuses for the other stuff is great and the agility allows you to equip kryst without having to put points there.

Well that is my guide and I hope you enjoyed it very much =)

Thanks to Dark-Leon This guide just got better. For all your pvp needs read below.

Feca at PvP

feca vs. sadida
Before lvl 90 u can just cast your shields and rebound and try to get close to burn/staff, but after lvl 90 they got insolent, so then u cast earth armor, let them unbewich and then cast feca shield and the others u have left. Soothing/insolent can be very annoying, so try not to get in linear range so they cant MP rape/unbewitch you.
keep watching their MP(there is an option to let you see thei MP range in green), so they cant staff u. If they got close enough, Para glyph + burn or staff it. dont forget, sac doll is air damage.

feca vs. osamodas
You'll need al shields at this class, they can summon monsters of each element(exept water, but u need it for crackler) and they can unbewitch. so try to just something stupid(like lvl 1 immunity), let the wyrm unbewitch you, cast your shields and you got a few turns to kill the osa before the wyrm can unbewitch again. Try to get the wyrm close to u and teleport away so it cant reach/unbewitch u for a while. keep staffing/burning the osa and you'll win eventually.

vs. enutrof
OUCH! they are one of the most annoying classes to beat. Ap/MP/range rape, unbewitchment and invisibility. same tactic with a sadi, cast water armor, let them unbewitch and then cast feca shield. if he's invisible, cast immunity so he has to get visible and unbewitch you. try to get close and staff. BUT dont para glyph him untill he casts acceleration, cause if u do, he'll step off the glyph. You need to be very lucky against this class.

vs. sram
Para glyph will be your best friend. if they cast invisiility, check where he was, count his MP, walk up and burn+para, if you are lucky, he'll be un your glyph and hurt. then just run away and watch his MP going down. when he has his MP back or dodged the spell, cast truce and immunity, wait till he's visible again(keep running) and finish him off.

vs. xelor
Without enough vit and AP resist, u wont survive long against them. counter, blinding and mummification are a bitch and glyphs wont work very good. when he casts mummy, use truce, immune and your MP to get rid of it, try damaging him with burning, if you're lucky, you'll pierce through his counter and reduction. If they got a nitruhant, they can probably kill you in 1 turn, so when he teleports to you, teleport away and try to stay at range.

vs. ecaflip
It's fun to see them healing you with HoT http://www.impsvillage.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif. hiding at a cawwot wont work cause they got playful, AoN goes through your shield and they can heal themself. try to kill him with ranged attacks and dont get in thei linear range, spell rebound is a really good help against their spells. burn + para glyph them, so they need to use their MP to get close, hit them and hope they dont hit high.

"i'll finish it later ><" <----- I'll update when he does..

Any corrections please tell me i would like to know.

I would also like to Thank Dark-leon , Yze , Quivitar, Red-Guardian and all the other fecas I know Thanks for the input !!

Also like to give a shout to Illuminati! thanks for helping me

Note:also a Great gear guide was writtin here not to long ago for a feca i can't seem to find it though...

Ps. can this be linked to the pinned:Guide area?

Feca chance is basically training to lvl 31, and keep boosting chance then until you get the powerful attack bubble. Get the spell to level 5 right off the bat so you can attack (3 ap). Added By:OceansDefender -.~ pm me sometimes if you have questions on a Intel Feca I havent tried this Feca build yet as im building up an Intellegence Feca but it seems that the best and basically only set for this build is Moskito set. After you get the Moskito set get a good water damage staff(this means you'll have to get an Etherreal weapon so deal with it)or if you feel lucky try for a decent water damage dagger seeins how Feca are good with both weapons, again you'll need an Etherreal weapon so just deal with it, but a 110 spear at lower levels is also nice.If you actually get to lvl 41 you should think about either an Ice Kwak set or a BlueScara set. These both give decent chance increases so go for it.I can't say for sure but I think this would be a good build for someone who was succesful with an Enutrof would probably like this build as a back-up class.

(shingi-evangelion edit) if u want a water dmg staff or daggers you dont have to resort to using etheral weapons, you could get a staff forged water, or use ergot minas for daggers.

(stillgrave edit) An additional idea, due to the weapon bonus of staffs and staff skill, would be the akwadala set for this build. Also, the 110 spear would be a nice staff for this build.

(OceansDefender)Thanks stillgrave you are right the Akwadala Set would be ideal for this build but i was mainly talking about lower levels and not getting too indepth about the semi-many water sets out there in the world of dofus.

Note- Ive never made a chance-feca myself, but i would suggest getting the Release spell and leveling it to level 5. This would allow, even with only 6 AP, to push the enemy back 3 squares and blast them with level 5 Bubble in the same turn. Also Paralyzing Glyph at level 90 would be very helpful in controlling the battlefield along with Teleportation. And i suppose forgemages could make a water-weapon too if you needed one.

==== About Dofus ====
Dofus is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed and published by Ankama Studio, a French computer game manufacturer. Dofus is set in the world of Amakna, which is an anagram of Ankama. Its success led to the marketing of by-products, like books, and with the development of two continuations: Dofus Arena, a tactical online multiplayer game, released at the beginning of 2006, is an alternative "tournament" version of Dofus; and Wakfu which is currently in preparation and should be released by the end of 2007.

Dofus is a role-playing game in which players create characters that serve as their avatar in the online world. The player can choose from twelve different classes, one of which is reserved for subscribers.

One can lose easily thanks to the hard monsters.

Combat is played out "turn by turn" on squared charts. Within a turn, each player can advance 3 squares and use up to 6 "attack points", used to cast spells. The AP (attack points) and MP (movement points) can be increased in later evolution of the character, by using certain equipment.

When a character dies, they lose a specific amount of money and energy that is able to be regained while sitting in a tavern before logging off, or by using certain objects. If all of your energy is exhausted, you will take the form of a ghost which will be used to very slowly reach a statue of a phoenix, where it will be able to resurrect your character and regain a part of its vital energy (1000 points). A character's maximum energy is 10,000, but this can be raised upon reaching certain orders within an alignment. There is a possibility that a priest (who is another play who has reached this rank) will return the fallen player to the "human form" with a portion of their energy, usually in exchange for some Kamas.

Characters can join and form guilds, which make it possible for the members to speak with each other, to coordinate each other, set up a tax collector to take sales/taxes carried out by the players who are not members of the guild, or to steal the objects dropped from monsters at the end of a fight.

A system of alignment makes it possible to take part in a war between the cities Bonta (City of the Angels) and that of Brakmar (City of the Demons), in the form of a players versus players mode (PvP). Since the 1.13 update, points can be gained from these fights, and hence a PvP scene developed. The third alignment, named Sériane-Kern (represented by wings made of wood and fabric), makes it possible to remain neutral and to carry out contracts provided by other players. However, this alignment is only available on the first server, Jiva.

A new update in the game makes it possible to breed Dragoturkeys. This makes it possible to go twice as fast compared to running. As such, there are breeding enclosures available to players to breed their mounts.

Classes

There are twelve different classes. The choice of class determines which spells your character will receive, as well as how much characteristic upgrades will cost. The class names are inside jokes amongst the developers, often (but not always) referring in some way to the abilities of the class. For example, the Xelor class which uses time magic in combat, derives its name from Rolex, a watch manufacturer.

* Sadida's Boots ("Adidas" backwards) - Nature-influenced direct damage and voodoo doll summoning.
* Eniripsa's Hands (Aspirine, the French spelling of "Aspirin") - Specialized in healing and invoking spells to increase the abilities of their allies.
* Iop's Heart (named for Yop yogurt drink, a developer in-joke) - Attack-based class with many powerful spells, however they have short range.
* Cra's Range (Arc, French for "bow") - Archer class specializing in bow and arrow attacks that have long range to attack enemies from far away.
* Feca's Shield (café, French for coffee, another inside joke) - Defensive magic user, usually the last man standing in a fight.
* Sacrier's Blood (sacrifice + crier; the French name is sacrieur, sacrifice + rieur, "one who laughs") - Attacks based on sacrifice and self-damage to deal more powerful attacks.
* Osamodas' Whip (Sado-Maso{chism}) - Summoner class that can call creatures to its aid.
* Ecaflip's Coin ("pilface" is a shortened form of "pile ou face", which means "tails or heads") - Gambler class whose attacks are powerful but can backfire and harm the player.
* Enutrof's Fingers (Fortune) - Treasure seeker class that starts off weaker in battle but finds dropped items at a faster rate.
* Xelor's hourglass (Rolex) - Masters of time, able to delay or speed up units in battle by taking or adding Action Points (AP) to enemies and/or allies.
* Sram's Shadow (Mars Bar, yet another inside joke) - thief/assassin class, specializing in different types of hidden traps, invisibility and powerful close combat.
* Pandawa's pint (Padawan or Panda Warrior) - While sober, they're a support class, carrying allies around the battlefield and lowering enemies' elemental resistance. When drunk, they become formidable close-range fighters, with reduced movement but powerful attacks and damage reduction. This class is available only for paid players(p2p).

According to a post on this topic on the official forums, Feca, Iop, and Sram were the first three classes created, so the developers named them after their favorites among the various snacks they enjoyed while making the game, and the names have nothing to do with the classes themselves.
